A Mahjong name does not establish a single set of rules. Before taking a tile, check whether this build asks for exposed pairs, a connection path, or a group in a tray. These examples distinguish distributor descriptions from observations in the exact linked game.
Choose a board by what makes a move valid

Use the complete move condition, not the picture alone. Two tiles may match visually yet fail because a side is blocked, a path bends too often, or the game needs a third tile. The observations above cover those particular opening actions; they do not establish every rule in every title.
Choose the pace from the actual menu
The Great Mahjong explicitly offers two modes. Girls Sandals Mahjong's observed first level starts at 03:00 and counts down. Other builds can use different timers or none at all; neither the catalogue category nor a seasonal theme establishes a relaxed pace. Check the current opening screen before starting a session you cannot pause.
When a source description disagrees with the game
Xmas Presents Mahjong's HTML metadata says Candy Cascade, but its actual title, credits and observed triple-matching board identify Xmas Presents Mahjong. Girls Sandals Mahjong's actual help contains a reused insect description. Those conflicts are recorded so that a familiar title or copied paragraph is not treated as stronger evidence than the exact build.
Some catalogue entries still lack reliable detailed rules. Their game pages identify that boundary and retain their independent provider launcher. They do not borrow a tutorial from another app with the same name. Use the provider's opening help and send a correction if the displayed game differs from the page.
Opening, stopping and cost boundaries
